Costa do Sol Tour

After visiting the main tourist attractions in Cascais, we head towards Estoril, passing by the Casino, and then on to Carcavelos, with its 1.5 km beach, but first we will pass by the Fort of Santo António, São Pedro do Estoril and, after Carcavelos beach, we will see the largest and most complete military fort on the Portuguese coast, the Fort of São Julião da Barra. In front of it is NOVA-SBE. If you want to know more about this, then join us on this tour and we will explain everything, as well as what is still to come, and continuing along the coast road we head towards the Jerónimos Monastery, passing through the municipality of Oeiras, where we will see the Fort of São Lourenço do Bugio, halfway along the Tagus River estuary.
Continuing with the Tagus River on our right, we head towards Lisbon, passing by the National Stadium, inaugurated on 10 June 1944 and inspired by the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. From there, we continue to Algés and later arrive at the Jerónimos Monastery, where we will make a 20-minute stop with a historical explanation of this monument, classified since 1983 by UNESCO as a ‘World Heritage Site’. The return to the starting point is via the same road.
