1955 – Ford Custom Line Sedan

The Custom Line range was manufactured between the years 1952 and 1956. They were mid-range cars, more expensive than the Ford “Mainline” but cheaper than the “Crestline” or later the “Fairlane.”
The Ford “Line” range received a new design starting in 1955, when the Chevrolet “Bel Air” appeared.
The sober and somewhat revolutionary style made the Ford Customline set a new trend in car design. The front glass is a single slightly curved piece, which was quite bold for the time.
When this car went on sale, it cost 1,628 dollars in the USA.
A total of 374,487 units of this model were produced.
